BuddyLove was founded in Dallas, Texas in 2012 by Grayson and Buddy DiFonzo. BuddyLove has made a national name for itself in both the women’s wholesale and digital retail clothing industry. Known for its bold prints, ready-to-wear anywhere styles, and life-of-the-party attitude, the company has decided to take on a new avenue – brick-and-mortar retail.

“After Buddy and I took a marketing trip to Fredericksburg, we knew that this was where we wanted to plant some roots. Wine, BuddyLove, Texas. What’s not to love?”, CEO and Founder, Grayson DiFonzo explains how she and co-founder Buddy DiFonzo decided to open their flagship store in 2021. Buddy and Grayson know the Hill Country well as they are both originally from New Braunfels. “Growing up in The Hill Country definitely inspired our brand and Grayson’s design,” Buddy DiFonzo stated, “You can take the girl out of the hill country, but you can’t take the hill country out of the girl. So, this store is a bit of a homecoming for both of us."

“With BuddyLove being founded in Dallas, it made sense for the next location to be in the heart of the city,” explained Buddy DiFonzo. “When an empty storefront opened on Lovers Lane in 2023, it was like the stars aligned. BuddyLove on Lovers just has a nice ring to it.”
